The Gardens Wedding Center was originally established in 1844.
The Gardens Wedding Center is owned and operated by a 5 person family within the 3 acres of a historic four-building complex originally established in 1844. The church boasts of its heritage with rich woodwork and original stained glass windows. The Gardens’ church bells have rung for thousands of weddings announcing to the entire area that another “Happily Ever After” has begun!
Our garden is an ever-changing canvas. Each month brings new colors and textures that will delight both you and your photographer! The grounds offer a large array of backdrops and landscapes, capturing both exciting and intimate moments.
Truly a place for all seasons. Spring at The Gardens surrounds you with a lovely sight of thousands of Tulips, Lilacs, Magnolias and other Blossoming Trees that burst onto the scene beginning in April. Summer brings it’s full bounty of flowers when the tens of thousands plants explode in color all around the property. Fall brings us changing leaves to the hundred plus trees as the Autumn breezes across the country fields cause our Hydrangeas, Hardy Mums, Sunflowers, Canna Lillies, Black Eyed Susans, Purple Coneflowers and other perennials to wave.

The tall grasses that surround the 1800’s Wagon Garden are in bloom almost all year. By August and September, the entire gardens continue to be in full bloom, thrilling not only bridal couples, but seniors for pictures, and families posing for their special family portraits.
We invite you to come listen to the Waterfall as it spills into our lovely Reflection Pond. You will treasure those extraordinary moments captured in your photographs at The Gardens. The most difficult thing will be to decide which portrait is your favorite – Was it the kiss on the Wedding Bridge or the one on the Wedding Swing?
Our family takes great pride in preserving the rich history of our property. Every dollar goes back into the restoration efforts of our buildings and to expand our amenities so that each year is better and more beautiful than the year before.
